In 2017, NAvakara continued its mission with another bustling year of learning through action and sharing knowledge. Informal teaching sessions and collaborative discussions became key avenues to spread awareness about mindful consumption and production.
NAvakara’s journey toward sustainability also deepened its connections with local communities. The team traveled across Indonesia, partnering with women’s groups and a community of ex-street children around Jakarta to co-create unique upcycled products that embodied environmental responsibility and celebrated local craftsmanship. Through these efforts, NAvakara not only pushed forward its message but also strengthened the movement for mindful living.
